We are a collective of architects and designers that translate creative instincts and emotions into built form.  Physical expressions of influence and connectivity that balance "what if?"with thoughtful purpose are the result of an inclusive, collaborative culture. 

RECOGNITION

Award winning design is a hallmark of SPACE. Our work has translated into industry and community recognition, including three prestigious American Institute of Architect Awards, 2007-2009. The most recent distinction includes the Mayor's Spirit of St. Louis Award in May, 2010. SPACE was also recognized by St. Louis Magazine as the Best Contemporary Architecture Firm in 2009 and featured on the cover of the Saint Louis Post-Dispatch for our use of alternative energy system incentives from local, state and federal programs.

DESIGN PRINCIPLES

Simply put, we do not subscribe to one style of design, to one discipline or time period. The complexities of the physical environment and clients unique needs require flexibility.  In that spirit, we are advocates of an accessible aesthetic. We believe thoughtful design has the power to slap you square in the face OR to take shape slowly. We take responsibility for both. We're not out for architectural world dominance. We just want the opportunity to translate ideas into superior work, for great people, enhancing lives and environments while having a little fun along the way.
