Meet the Interns: Juan

Say hi to Juan, everybody.
Juan did this.
He did this, too.

Each summer if our workload justifies it, we add a few interns to our staff. They get real-world experience, and we get fresh faces with a new perspective on things. It's a win-win. This summer, we have three talented young designers and we're going to introduce them to you here on our blog. This week, we'd like to introduce you to Juan. After earning a degree in architecture from his native Colombia, he decided to broaden his skill set and life experiences by moving to St. Louis to study interior design. He knows his stuff, too. He just won the International Interior Design Association Student Design Charette at NeoCon 2013 for his team's design for a lounge area that used materials at NeoCon. To see some of his design skills, check out his portfolio.

Now, the tough questions:

Favorite thing to do: Running/working out with really loud and energetic music.
Last song downloaded: "Instant Crush" by Daft Punk
Favorite architect: Eileen Gray
Greatness weakness: Not being able to say no to many things.
