MVMNT Pilates + Strength

When we think of working out, luxury usually isn’t part of the equation. (More like “misery”.) But we were fortunate to work with MVMNT Pilates + Strength, a client who wanted a luxurious space for fierce workouts in a spa-like environment. 

In the reception area, clients are greeted by a signature fragrance and custom furniture for comfortable congregating after class. The desk was designed for three raised tablets for efficient sign-in before class, and the desk is flanked by two modular retail systems to easily reconfigure as retail needs evolve. There is also a second retail area for cold beverages and healthy snacks to the left of the front door. 

Offering two Pilates classrooms — one for the Reformer, one for the Cadillac — and a well-appointed weight room, the studio is a peaceful respite from the busy day with a soothing palette of warm woods and olive accents that complement the sculptural white reformers. 

Each classroom is outfitted with custom mirrors and glass, acoustical treatments disguised as ceiling beams, and functional-but-beautiful storage for both class accessories and clients’ belongings. With a tricked-out area for swag and snacks, an advanced sound system, and plush bathrooms, MVMNT is the place to stretch your body and revive your mind.
