Chris’ South
5262 South Lindbergh Blvd.
St. Louis, MO 63126
Wrapped in cedar shake splendor, the old TGIFriday’s was a south county beacon of beer and good times for 40 years. A few months after they closed, Bartolino’s Hospitality Group purchased it to open a county outpost of their popular Chris’ Pancake and Dining. The construction team worked for almost 10 months to transform the building.
We said goodbye to the mansard roof and circus awnings in favor of a clean façade and a steel and cedar patio. Inside, the bi-level design was removed, but we preserved a bar in the center of the space for boozy brunches and convenient drink service during evening special events. The dining area offers a variety of seating types to make everyone comfortable.
The new restaurant features two private dining rooms: a large room for parties of 50 with an ante room, and a smaller room for a group of 10. In true BHG style, the spacious kitchen is clad in stainless steel and a resilient floor for easy cleanup and staff comfort.

Dramatic Before/After
There’s something extra-gratifying to make such a big change on the outside of a building. The simplicity of the design and materials heightens the contrast to the old exterior treatment.
