The new Dominic Michael Salon embodies the clean lines, simple palette, efficiency, and the decorative restraint of Modernism. A former restaurant, the only area untouched during the renovation was the bathrooms, leaving all fixtures and tile. 

The interior is a visual juxtaposition: a warm mocha hub and dark floor that visually defines reception, retail, shampoo and the color mixing bar as a box within a box. This color was carefully scrutinized to ensure it didn’t reflect unflattering tones, altering the way hair is perceived by stylists. This mocha color contrasts with the crisp white of the efficient gallery-like styling area, beyond the box. 

The salon offers clean sight lines through the service areas for staff efficiency and a feeling of connectedness for clients. The design is intuitive: guests do not need to ask where to go, the space guides them naturally. The guest experience is further elevated with ergonomic styling chairs and personal charging stations.
